Our Commitment to Quality
Guardsman Security Services Ltd is committed to delivering professional, reliable and consistent security services that meet agreed client requirements and support the protection of people, property and assets.
We recognise that quality in security services depends on more than the presence of an officer on site. It requires suitable personnel, clear instructions, effective supervision, responsive communication and ongoing review.
Client-Focused Service
We work with clients to understand the purpose of each assignment, the risks associated with the site and the standards expected from our personnel.
Our aim is to provide security solutions that are proportionate, practical and tailored to the operational needs of each location.
Personnel Standards
We seek to deploy appropriately licensed, vetted and competent personnel who understand their responsibilities and the professional standards expected of them.
Where required, personnel receive site-specific information, assignment instructions, induction and operational support before or during deployment.
Service Planning & Delivery
We support service quality through:
- clear client requirements and assignment instructions;
- appropriate recruitment, vetting and deployment processes;
- planned supervision and operational oversight;
- incident and occurrence reporting;
- responsive communication with clients and personnel;
- management of short-notice and replacement cover where reasonably practicable; and
- review of performance, incidents, complaints and service issues.
Continuous Improvement
We treat feedback, incidents, complaints, audits and operational reviews as opportunities to improve. Where a service issue is identified, we aim to understand the cause, take proportionate corrective action and reduce the risk of recurrence.
Supplier & Subcontractor Quality
Where suppliers or subcontractors support our service delivery, we expect them to meet relevant legal, professional and contractual standards. Their performance may be reviewed where appropriate.
Responsibilities
Senior management is responsible for maintaining appropriate quality standards and ensuring that quality objectives are reflected in operational decisions.
Managers, supervisors and security personnel share responsibility for delivering services in accordance with assignment instructions, client requirements and company standards.
Monitoring & Review
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains appropriate to our services, client expectations and business objectives.
Policy Review
This policy is intended to be reviewed at least annually and sooner where there is a significant change in legislation, company operations or relevant risk.
